• Born and raised in New York State.
• Graduated from Batavia High School in 1983.
• Joined the Army Reserves in 1982, attending Army Basic Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma during the Summer between Junior and Senior year of high school.
• After completing Combat Medic Training at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas, attended St. John Fisher College during the Fall semester of 1983.
• Enlisted Active Duty Air Force in May, 1984.
• Married Crystal in October, 1984 (Divorced in 1991; Remarried in 1995).
• Stationed at Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan from October 1984-October 1987.
• One son, Thomas James (TJ) born in 1986, who is currently attending Midwestern State University.
• Assigned to instructor duty at Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, Texas in October 1987
• Honorably discharged in September, 1992 and moved to The Colony, Texas to complete Master of Science at UNT.
• Worked for Hughes Aircraft, Greyhound Lines, EDS, Consulting Partners, Sun Microsystems, and Essilor of America.
• Completed Master of Education in Counseling in 2005
• Ran for Justice of the Peace in 2006. Was the leading vote-getter in the Primary and won the run-off election with 62% of the vote.
